Take five measurements to the nearest ¼ inch.

Add up the measurements to get the total number of inches.
2. Then weigh yourself. Use the SAME scale each time. Even if your scale is not accurate, it should be consistent and you will be able to accurately measure your weight change. Also try to have on the same amount of clothes or weigh in underwear each time.
